Starsza pani dwa razy traciła przytomność na Kaliskiej w Łęczycy.

Na szczęście upadając na chodnik nie uderzyła głową o twarde podłoże. Seniorce pomogła młodsza łęczycanka. – Wspaniale, że są jeszcze tacy ludzie – dziękowała seniorka, gdy odzyskała przytomność.

– Nie wiem, co mi się stało – usłyszeliśmy (nasz reporter uczestniczył w akcji pomocy). – Nie kręci mi się w głowie. Po prostu poczułam, jakbym nagle miała nogi z waty. I runęłam… proszę nie dzwonić na pogotowie. Zaraz zadzwonię po męża.

Reporter pomógł starszej pani usiąść na ławce, a łęczycanka kupiła seniorce wodę mineralną.

Po kilku minutach na miejscu zjawił się mąż seniorki.

– Wezwę taksówkę. Poradzimy już sobie. Dziękuję za pomoc – powiedział mężczyzna.

Dziś po południu (28 kwietnia) nad miejskim zalewem ujawnione zostało ciało mężczyzny – najprawdopodobniej wędkarza.

Na miejsce wezwano służby, w tym karetkę pogotowia. Ratownicy medyczni stwierdzili zgon.

Na pomoc, niestety, było już za późno. Czynności prowadzi policja wraz z prokuraturą. Wkrótce służby powinny w tej sprawie przekazać więcej informacji.

Teren przy wejściu na ROD Irys od strony ulicy Słowackiego w Łęczycy, gdzie parkują zmotoryzowani działkowcy i jednocześnie parking przy Środowiskowym Domu Samopomocy od lat wymaga wyrównania i utwardzenia. Ostatnio wśród działkowców pojawiła się informacja, że miasto wkrótce przeprowadzi niezbędne prace na gruntowym terenie. Niestety, okazało się, że takich planów jednak nie ma.

– Jest katastrofa. Naprawdę strach tu wjeżdżać autem, ale czasami trzeba, zwłaszcza jak przywozi się na działkę narzędzia, ziemię, czy kwiaty, bo dla starszego człowieka im bliżej bramy, tym lepiej – mówi właściciel działki na Irysie. – Problem jest od lat. Doraźne równanie niewiele pomaga.

Od kolejnego działkowca usłyszeliśmy, że miasto ma szykować się do asfaltowania tego terenu, co jest raczej mało prawdopodobne. W magistracie pytamy, czy teren będzie utwardzany. Uzyskaliśmy odpowiedź, że nie jest planowana taka inwestycja w tegorocznym budżecie.

Nierówny teren przeszkadza nie tylko działkowcom i ich gościom. Pracownicy ŚDS także woleliby z samochodów pod miejscem pracy wysiadać na równy grunt a nie – gdy pada – w kałuże czy błoto.
